For years, I made small batches of beef jerky for friends, family, and coworkers. Everyone who tried it said:

“You missed your calling — you should sell this.”

But it wasn’t until recovery from alcoholism that I finally listened.

In recovery, you break down everything. You find out who you really are. I needed something disciplined and healthy to pour myself into — something real. I turned back to the one thing that always grounded me: crafting clean, high-protein jerky.

I launched an Instagram page for Primal Craft Jerky, shared my story, and the response was overwhelming. People didn’t just want jerky — they connected with the honesty, the comeback, and the mission behind it.

“People relate to resilience. They relate to the fight. They relate to purpose.”

As things grew, two close friends stepped in to build something bigger:

Chris, a decorated law-enforcement officer, and

Travis, a military-background with a passion for purpose-based work.

Together, we built more than a jerky brand — we built a mission.

That’s where Fuel With Purpose was born.

Today, Survivor Brands stands for clean fuel, hard work, active lifestyles, and service. We proudly support organizations like Tunnel to Towers, and plan to expand into causes tied to addiction recovery, mental health, veteran support, and first-responder assistance.

Every bag represents resilience, discipline, and the belief that no one has to fight alone.
